An evening walk along the coastal path above some of the cliffs between Ogmore and Southerndown in a wild westerly wind coming in off the sea.
This is looking eastwards over the top of Dunraven Bay, then along the coast past the long sloping headland of Trwyn y Witch and on to Nash Point - it was a mid tide level so most of the beaches that were visible on my last trip along these cliffs were submerged -
The stormy weather and broken evening sunshine lighting up patches on the sea were producing some nice lighting efects - but by the time I got my camera out they were just about away - this was the last of them -
After the trip along the cliff tops we headed down to Dunraven Bay - this is looking eastwards across the steeply sloping bank of stones that lies right across the bay over to more cliffs -
Just to the west of Dunraven Bay there is a big and rapid change in the topography of the coast - instead of the steeply sloping bank of stones there are huge slabs of sandstone carved up by the sea - leading up to layers of sandstone and then the huge sandstone cliffs at the back -
