This section of the river has several rapids and playspots packed into its 4km length, and is suitable for paddlers of all levels, from basic 2 star level, to advanced river runners and playboaters, depending on the river level.

The site is partly a blog, and partly a source of information about

NB

These web pages are no longer being kept up to date. The River Tay is a living environment - it changes on a regular basis in different ways. Sometimes it is nature that causes the changes, and sometimes it is man or his machines that make the changes. This website can only say what the river was like at specific times, and some of the information may no longer be as accurate as it originally was.
