26 July 2024 ............. Quite a prolonged sunset

There was quite a prolonged sunset today - it started with some good lighting - the sun was highlighting a ribbon of cloud that was lying over the tops on Arran, and there were shafts of sunlight over Saltcoats -

Later on we got a bit of colour over Saltcoats -

And then a blast of the setting sun just before it dropped below the horizon -
