out and about - 2024

22 February 2024 ............. Up by Connel Bridge and Benderloch

A very stormy, changeable, and wet period of weather - but sometimes it brought some good photographic opportunities.

Up on Connel bridge - looking down on the Falls of Lora around the middle of a flood tide - some good looking waves over the reef -

Looking eastwards up Loch Etive towards Ben Cruachan - unfortunately there was too much cloud around to get a decent view of Ben Cruachan or the other mountains -

A heavy shower just to the north of Connel Bridge missed me, but brought a good rainbow over North Connel -

Since I wasn`t too far away, I headed up to the viewpoint by Benderloch - and some more moody lighting looking away down the east coast of Mull -
