Another day of this very unseasonable warm weather - and far too nice to not do something - so it was a trip out to Nash Point.
The rather sawn-off look of Nash Point taken from the road side - and just for reference, it was close to a high Neaps tide -
It is a bit of a trek away down almost to sea level then away back up again - but what a reward - super views from up on Nash Point looking across to the east along the cliffs and over to the Nash Point lighthouses -
Looking west there are the fabulous sandstone cliffs that go for miles -
I noticed there had been a recent rockfall halfway round the bay - well, recent in geological terms.
But when I looked at the photograph at home I realised there were actually two rockfalls, the further one just sneaking into the left of the picture -
Looks like there is a large cave in the cliffs just before the next headland -
A long distance view of the bit of coastline that I visited a couple of weeks ago between Dunraven Bay and Ogmore - beyond the long sloping headland of Trwyn y Witch you can see the section of cliffs with the caves lit up by the sun, and just about make out the Black Rocks -
Along the cliff tops to the west from Nash Point, and looking back at Nash Point -
