Another good day, and another good evening - the visibility was a bit better than the previous evening, and there was a bit of cloud around which added a bit of life to the sky -
A good view away down the east side of Mull again -
The weather was a bit strange in that whilst all around me the south and west was very clear and enjoying the evening sunshine, up to the north it was very grey, and I think that only about 20 or so miles up the coast it would have been raining.
That would be around the Mamores - so yes it was propably raining !
The Mamores and the surrounding area have the dubious honour of being the wettest place in Britain - but when the Mamores are dry they have some fabulous hill walking trips - the Ring of Steall is one of the finest routes in the country - classic ridge walking, without the technical difficulties of the Cuillins, or the remoteness of An Teallach.
I tried to take a picture looking up in that direction to show the difference in the weather, however the photo doesn`t really show anything of consequence, and not worth showing here.
Back down on the beach again nicely timed to watch the sunset -
