A massive high pressure just to the west of the UK, and a massive low pressure just to the east of the UK meant that a strong north air stream was covering the country, and it brought a strong very cold north wind but with not a lot of cloud, so lots of sunshine to counteract the cold wind.
Up by the jetty by Dunstaffnage, with very good visibility away across the outer section of Loch Etive, looking away past the Connel Bridge at some of the mountains up to the north of Loch Etive -
Ben Cruachan was very clear, but this side of it was in shadow, so not the most striking of pictures -
Beinn Lora was just catching the sun, with super autumn colouring on the island Eilean Mòr in the foreground -
Time to head away down the coast to Ganavan, and a cracking view over quite a choppy sea across to the mountains on Mull - the lighthouse on Eilean Musdile was fairly catching the sun -
