A fabulous sunset this evening, which went on and on - this was the beginnings of it, with the sort of lighting that is typical of the sort of evening lighting that you get looking out from Ardrossan, rather than what you usually get around the Firth of Lorne -
A wee while later, a different viewpoint, and the sun is just about away behind the hills on Mull -
