out and about - 2019
25 February 2019 .............. Up from Ganavan
Taking advantage of the amazing February weather for a wander over the hills up from Ganavan, and some good lighting looking down the Firth of Lorne -
Although the cloud base was high and all the tops were clear, there was a lot of haze which made for quite limited visibility - looking away across the Firth of Lorne past Lismore and Eilean Musdile over to the mountains on Mull -
Another view looking down the Firth of Lorne, with some more good lighting, the huge cliffs on that mysterious area of Mull to the south of Loch Spelve, and a free advert for Cal Mac -
Up and over the hills looking over the outer part of Loch Etive, then past Connel Bridge and the Falls of Lora, and on to the mountains to the east of Loch Etive - nice to see Ben Cruachan without its usual hat on, even though it is rather hazy -
