out and about - 2019
04 January 2019 .............. Unexpected sunrise and sunset
A big sheet of grey cloud covered the sky all day, except that the edge of the cloud was just above the horizon, and so we got a very brief sunrise shining just below the edge of the cloud -
Maybe half an hour later and down by the sea - the sun is up behind the cloud layer seen from where I was, but it was still shining on Snowdonia, so we got a bit of an odd effect from the backlighting on the mountains -
The grey cloud covered the sky all day, but just before sunset the sun found a gap again, and for just a couple of minutes we got a bit of a sunset -
