out and about - 2018
29 December 2018 .............. A bit of sunset
The high pressure down to the south of the UK has brought some foul weather to the area - not foul as in wild, but just foul as in continuous grey cloud cover, windless, very damp - pretty horrible - and it has been going on for the best part of a week.
So it was a great relief when this afternoon the cloud cleared away and we got a bit of sun for a change - and a sort of sunset.
Not the best of sunsets, but after the foul weather of the last week it was magic -
Down by the sea now, and just enough brightness in the sky to light up the sea a bit -
The sun is well away by now, but for a few minutes there was a rather unusual type of cloud formation -
