Storm Diana brought some wild conditions today, along with some quite spectacular cloud formations and lighting - this bit of the coastline doesn`t really show big waves, I think because the sea bed is characterised by a lot of rocky outcrops, so they dissipate a lot of the wave energy before the waves get close in - the bigger waves can be seen further out beyond the rocks -
Heavy grey clouds hanging over the sea -
Looking up towards Rhoscolyn - the sea looks quite calm in this picture, it is somewhat sheltered by the rocky outcrops, but the heavy clouds are still there -
Some rather strange and quite dramatic lighting in the clouds -
A while later, and a lot of the heavy grey cloud has moved away to reveal another big mass of cloud in the distance -
