out and about - 2018

25 November 2018 .............. More sunshine

This east wind goes on and on, and so does the sunshine, which is rather nice, as long as you have enough clothes on - this east wind tries to go through you rather than around you.

Rather looking into the morning sun to get quite a distinctive view across to Dinas Trefri and Dinas Bâch, behind them the headland of Pen-y-parc, and a wee bit of Llanddwyn Island just showing behind that.

It is a real shame that the coastal path doesn`t go anywhere near that whole peninsula, it bypasses the whole peninsula -

The morning sunshine and a Springs high tide were certainly showing off the isolation of St Cwyfan`s Church this morning.

Funny to think that it was originally built on the mainland, and the sea has eaten away all the intermediate land to leave it as an island -

The sunshine continued all day, and we got quite a good sunset to end the day -

Quite a while later, and I am away down by the sea, and there was still quite a significant afterglow lighting up the sea, with quite a dramatic looking bank of low cloud just above the horizon - pity about the Springs low tide, that bit of the coastline really doesn`t look good at low tide -
