out and about - 2018
10 October 2018 .............. Another amazing day
After two or three very wild and wet days, we had another amazing day that started right from the sunrise -
A few minutes later, and a bit of a change in the cloud cover, and some rather good shafts of sunlight contrasting with the dark cloud above -
It went on to be another amazing day, and it ended with some rather strange lighting, almost a sort of spooky effect -
Having watched the sun set below the hill on Arran, I set off down the round, and suddenly found that the setting sun had re-appeared in a gap between the two hills - two sunsets in the same day !
I am away along the coast now, and it must be a good twenty minutes later, it is getting quite dark by now but the same sort of spooky lighting was still there - quite surprising that the camera caught it as well as it did -
