out and about - 2018
06 September 2018 .............. Ailsa Craig without the dolphins
I was looking out through a pair of binoculars to Ailsa Craig catching the early morning sun, and I noticed some fins away out to sea - they would be dolphins, of that I am quite sure.
There were certainly two of them, because I could sometimes see two fins at the same time, but there might also have been a third one which was always a small distance away from the other two, but I never saw all three at the one time.
They were far too far out for me to have caught them on the camera, and they were quite elusive anyway, so you can have a picture of Ailsa Craig, but the dolphins were not to be photographed.
