Another day with the same sort of weather - ok first thing, then grey and wet thorugh the afternoon, and clear in the evening.
So another sunset - this was as good as it got, as the sun started to sink down behind the big bank of cloud you can easily see in the picture -
Except that the big bank of cloud wasn`t actually a bank of cloud - it must have been a quite short bank of fog or something, because we then got the sun shining through it, and so got some good effects.
Normally you can`t do tight shots looking into the sun, but because the intensity was reduced, some tighter shots worked rather nicely.
It also appears that I have made an amazing new discovery in the field of astrophysics - the sun isn`t round, it is actually oval. I wonder if I will get an award.
A bit later, the sun is a bit lower and a bit dimmer, and you can see the tapering of the brightness - a bit unusual, and rather fun -
