After a rather damp and grey day which didn`t bring as much rain as it should have done, by the evening the cloud had rolled away, and we had some evening sunshine - it wasn`t all over though, away to the south all the grey clag was still completely hiding the whole of Snowdonia and the upper end of the Lleyn Peninsula -
Up to the northwest the low sun was intensely bright, but strangely enough Holyhead Mountain was totally in cloud -
