It`s a bit too hot and burny to be out and about during the day just now, but I have had some great evening swims off Aberffraw beach over the last couple of weeks.
This evening, provided I didn`t go too far out, the water was quite warm and I spent ages in the sea.
Then a rather good scramble up one of the highest bits of the rocks, round the coast a bit, and a good view out over Dinas Bach across to Yr Eifl and the other mountains on the Lleyn Peninsula.
It was very good visibility this evening, much better than it has usually been lately - I could see right down to the far end of the Lleyn Peninsula, every rock and gulley on Yr Eifl, the individual houses in Trefor, some of the buildings at Nant Gwrtheyrn, and the super cliffs of Penrhyn Glas -
The only downside to the evening was the walk back through the dunes an hour or so later than usual, the sun was by now getting quite low, there wasn`t a breathe of wind - and the midges were out, and looking for their dinner.
