Down to the south and southeast of Carew Castle there is a distinct ridge that runs east / west for a few kilometres, along the top of the ridge there is a road called The Ridgeway from which you should get a good view - except you don`t, for most of its length.
However eventually I found an OS trig point from which there is quite a good view - I think, but I am not sure, that this is looking across to the upper parts of Tenby - a lot of Tenby is at the bottom of a lot of quite steep hills, so wouldn`t be visible from here, but it stretches away up the hills, so the upper parts might well be visible -
Round a bit to the right, and this is looking away to the southeast across to Caldey Island, along with two headlands, which I think are Proud Giltar and Giltar Point.
Away at the back you can see more land, which I assume is the west end of Gower - I wonder if it was better visibility you could see Worms Head, that would be quite good.
Caldey Island seems to have quite a rugged coastline - maybe another sea kayak trip, but I guess there could be some quite significant tidal currents to take account of -
Starting to head down off the ridge now, and a bit of a sunset to end the day -
