There was some beautiful soft lighting and superb visibility this morning, and so some excellent views of the mountains in Snowdonia, taken from a handy layby down the A55 - the Nantlle Ridge was looking amazing -
Snowdon and a bit of the Glyders were also looking fabulous - they both had a hat on, but it isn`t easy to say whether the summits were actually in the clouds, or whether the clouds were sitting just above the summits -
A while later, and I am away down beyond Porthmadog, and the Moelwynion were looking about the best I have ever seen them - Moelwyn Mawr on the left, and Moelwyn Bach on the right -
Round a bit, and Snowdon was still very clear as well - at least I think it is Snowdon - it is a bit odd seeing Snowdon from the south like this, I am much more used to seeing it from the north - and Snowdon still had its hat on -
