A super morning to start the year, with blue sky, sunshine, and a mild west wind bringing some blustery seas to Porth Nobla, with a clear view across to Rhoscolyn Head and Holyhead Mountain -
It didn`t last - by lunchtime there was 100% cloud cover - however it was good and dry, so to celebrate the New Year I cut the grass. I don`t think I have ever cut the grass on the first day of the year before.
Quite surprising how much it had grown considering the continual cold weather we have been having for several weeks now.
By late afternoon the wind had gone round to the northwest, it was freezing cold, but the cloud layer was breaking up, so we got a brief but colourful sunset.
Not a bad start to the year, and a happy New Year to anyone who actually looks at my website !
