This very cold northerly air stream has brought some quite local and surprisingly vicious hail storms to this part of the country - even the sheep are complaining about the cold despite their thick woolly coats.
However it has also brought some very good visibility and hard lighting away to the southwest - Snowdonia was hidden in a massive storm so not visible at all, but the whole of the Lleyn Peninsula was clear, even Bardsey Island was peeking over the horizon, and it isn`t often that you can see it from Rhosneigr.
