17 October 2017 .............. More super lighting

The day after Ophelia, the wind is beginning to drop, and round Treaddur Bay there is a lot of seaweed in the most surprising places - it must have been amazing to see it happening.

In the afternoon there was some super lighting in the sky around Treaddur Bay and Porth Dafarch - it was caused by a thin layer of very high altitude cloud that was coming over from the west, along with a few fragments of low cloud coming down from the north.

This was taken from away up at the back of Treaddur Bay -

Further along the coast road, and another one of the rocky coves along there -

Along by Porth Dafarch now -

Up on the headland above Porth Dafarch, looking out past Graig Lŵyd and the Dinas Stack -
