What a difference a day makes - after all the rain of the previous day, the small but deep low pressure that had been sitting just to the south of Ireland had finally moved away eastwards, and this was a beautiful evening.
Round Rhosneigr the beaches were full of people doing what people do on beaches in good weather - swimmers, surfers, sit-on-tops, kayaks - they were all out in force, and I was quite jealous - if I had known it was going to be so good I would have taken a towel and gone for a swim as well.
But I hadn`t, so had to content myself with a super view across to the Lleyn peninsula - it was fantastic visibility away to the south, and I discovered that from Rhosneigr you can see Bardsey Island as a separate island, from above Aberffraw it merges into the two hills on the mainland.
Yr Eifl was enjoying the good weather, nicely adorned with its summer hat.
