A beautiful evening to be out and about, and a super view from above Aberffraw - I could see the whole of Snowdonia, but it was all a bit hazy, so wouldn`t work in photographs.
Mynydd Mawr and the Nantlle Ridge were a bit clearer -
The mountains on the Lleyn Peninsula were a bit clearer again - Bwlch Mawr, Gyrn Goch, and Gyrn Ddu -
As is so often the case, Yr Eifl was the clearest of all the mountains and looking fabulous as usual -
A bit more hazy further down the Lleyn Peninsula -
Quite visible, but a bit more hazy, the far end of the Lleyn Peninsula -
A bit closer to home, looking across Aberffraw beach to the various headlands over there - Dinas Trefri and its close neighbour Dinas Bâch, and beyond them Pen-y-parc.
You can also see a white blob beyond them, which I think is the lighthouse on Llanddwyn Island.
Cycling back up towards Rhosneigr and Llanfaelog along the back roads - and a pair of raptors flew right over my head, and then flew up the road just in front of me - they must have been just in front of me for about twenty seconds or so, which doesn`t sound like a lot of time, but in those circumstances it is.
I assume they were buzzards, I am not really a birdie person, but it is always good to see something like that.
