Somewhat weird weather this evening - looking south from up around Aberffraw, Snowdonia was completely invisible, 95% of the Lleyn Peninsula was invisible, yet Anglesey was quite clear.
There seemed to be a huge bank of fog that went right down to sea level, it was coming in off the sea out to the west, and lying right up the Menai Straits, so that Anglesey was completely cut off from the rest of Wales.
Down the Lleyn Peninsula I could just see the summits of the bigger mountains - Bwlch Mawr, Gyrn Goch, and Gyrn Ddu were fairly visible, Yr Eifl was visible, but a bit obscured. Nothing else could be seen.
