out and about - 2017

05 June 2017 .............. A wet and stormy Rhosneigr

After a day of non-stop rain, a bit of a break, so I jumped out for a quick bike run around Rhosneigr - the sea and the clouds were all looking very grey - looking across Cymyran Bay to Ynysoedd Gwylanod and Rhoscolyn Beacon -

Holyhead Mountain was looking very grey as well -

Traeth Llydan was deserted except for one brave soul out on a sit-on-top type of surf boat - I couldn`t work out what it was at the time, but I got a closer look later on, and it was a composite sit-on-top surf board/kayak cross - I hope that isn`t an unkind description, I have never seen one before.

Heading back through Rhosneigr, and another view of Ynysoedd Gwylanod, because I realised I could see some quite big breakers crashing over both Ynysoedd Gwylanod and the mainland that heads along to Rhoscolyn Head.

There were some bigger ones at times, but they didn`t want to be photographed.
