I was away up the road above Llanfihange yn Nhowyn, and suddenly through a gap in the hedging I got a quite surprising view across to the mountains on the Lleyn Peninsula - Bwlch Mawr, Gyrn Goch, Gyrn Ddu and Yr Eifl.
They were picking up the sunshine even though the top end of Anglesey was very much in the shade.
Even more surprising was the fact that I could see the hills right down at the far end of the Lleyn Peninsula, though it isn`t a good photograph.
Later on and away back up the road now, and the sun behind the big layer of cloud is fairly backlighting Holyhead Mountain.
