out and about - 2017
01 June 2017 .............. Sand dunes to the north of Rhosneigr
Out on my bike this evening, and I went off my usual route, and found a big area of sand dunes to the north of Rhosneigr - I didn`t know they existed.
The river fairly winds its way around through the dunes -
There are a couple of bridges across the river, one of them is on vehicle track that dissappears into Valley Airfield, the other one is a footbridge, and it turns out that the Coastal Path goes across it - when I got home I looked at the map and found that the Coastal Path goes across the bridge, then heads through the dunes, and then right up the coast between Valley Airfield and Traeth Cymyran, and after a lot of meandering alongside the long tidal inlet, arrives at Four Mile Bridge.
It would be a quite different part of the Coastal Path.
I think this is the Coastal Path as it heads away through the dunes -
