A rather grey evening, but I was able to catch the last hour or so of daylight with a bit of a walk along the cliffs to the southeast of Porth Dafarch.
It isn`t perhaps one of the more documented bits of the coastal path, it is quite a short section, but you are high above some very rugged cliffs.
One of the good things about this bit of the coast is that you get a good view across to most of the Lleyn Peninsula, all the way from Bwlch Mawr right down to the far end of the Lleyn Peninsula, including Bardsey Sound and Bardsey Island, which you can just see on the right, if you look closely at the picture.
Maybe I should add a comment that as the light levels were beginning to drop, and there was no sign of any sun, it was all lit by the north light, so the pictures have come out with a bit of a blue cast.
Yr Eifl is one of these mountains that always looks good, it has such a distinctive shape, so here is a closer view of it, along with Bwlch Mawr, Gyrn Goch and Gyrn Ddu.
Looking round to the southeast towards Treaddur Bay, and some of the cliffs and rock formations.
Looking along the coast to the west now, with Dinas Stack away in the distance, across the other side of Porth Dafarch.
Another view in the same direction, with a slightly better view of Dinas Stack.
