The cold air stream coming down from the north has brought some quite wintery weather, but it also brought some super lighting over Snowdonia this evening.
A nicely lit threesome of Snowdon, Yr Aran, and Mynydd Mawr.
Round to the right, and Mynydd Mawr and the Nantlle Ridge were looking good as well -
Down the Lleyn Peninsula, and Yr Eifl was looking fabulous, and it is also worth noting just how well the stunning cliffs of the headland Penrhyn Glass are standing out, over on the right hand side of the picture.
Later on, and I am down around Rhosneigr, and after the sun had set behind a big layer of cloud, there was some good lighting looking across to Holyhead Mountain.
Not to be out done, Rhoscolyn Head was looking good as well - I love the way the sea is catching the lighting from the clouds.
