10 January 2017 ............ Quite a good sunrise
Quite a good sunset this morning - I may have missed some of the colour earlier on, but this is where it was when I realised that it was happening.
There were two quite distinct cloud layers - the ridges of cloud were high altitude, and were blowing across from the northwest- the lower blocks of cloud were being blown across from the south.
The high altitude ridges lost their colour soon after I was out there, but the lower blocks of cloud took over, and kept the colour going for quite a while longer.
A bit later on, and the sun finally said hello.
