A few pictures taken around Easdale during the early morning - and before the sun has made it over the hill, looking out over the slate quarry.
It was another fifteen minutes before the sun finally made it over the hill.
A wee while later, and the low angle of sun is lighting up all the fabulous cliffs down the east side of Mull.
Some close up views of the cliffs - they are fabulous looking cliffs, but I never found a way to get to them except as part of a multi-day trip.
It continued to be a photogenic morning, around in the other direction the combination of the low angle of sun and the broken clouds produced a spell of good shafts of sunlight.
Heading along the road away from Ellenabeich now, and looking out from the last place along the road from which you can see Scarba.
Up the hill now and up at the view point, and a good view of the Firth of Lorne.
A closer view of Belnahua and Ormsa, and behind them Eilean Dubh Mór and Eilean Dubh Beag.
The north end of the Garvellachs were still picking up a bit of sunshine on their east side.
