out and about - 2016
17 December 2016 ............ Quite a good sunrise
We had quite a good sunrise this morning, maybe it wasn`t the most vivid of colouring, but so much better than the grey damp foggy weather we have been having recently.
I don`t know whether I missed some more colouring earlier on, I can`t see the sunrises from the house now, they are too far round to the south - however what I saw was well worth the walk along the road.
A bit later on, and a bit of a closer view of the sun still hidden behind the Ochils -
A bit of a gap, as I had to go back to the house, and I thought it was all but over, but then I found that the lighting had changed quite a lot - the sun was now above the Ochils, but behind some layers of cloud, and it went on to produce some fabulous lighting just above the hills.
So back along the road again to get the view -
Getting close to the point that it isn`t worth taking any more pictures, although looking at it in person the lighting effects went on for quite a while, and were worth watching.
