I went for another trip up the Knock, but this time I went to the observation place first, and watched the sunset from there.
There wasn`t really much colour in the sunset - the sun is low down in this picture, but still above the hills.
A few minutes later, and it is just about away -
Away to the west it was a bit less cloudy, but still there wasn`t much colour to be seen.
I sat and watched the rather grey sunset for a while, and it didn`t seem to be going anywhere, so I headed off up the track for a walk round the summit of the Knock.
After about six or seven minutes, I turned round, and there was heaps of colour - and I couldn`t see it because of the trees.
Running isn`t really an option these days, but I headed back down as fast as I could, and took these two pictures on the way down through the trees.
After what seemed to be an eternity I made it back down to the observation area - and the colour was gone.
Gone !
Somewhat pissed off I set off back up the track again.
However all was not lost, up on the Knock now, and away to the west there was now some intense colour, which lasted for quite a time.
So I got a bit of a sunset after all.
