14 November 2016 ............ A short and very unexpected sunset
Today we had a very short, intense, and very unexpected sunset - there was nothing to suggest it was about to happen, but suddenly the whole sky - mostly cloud - lit up with the most intense red.
I was out on my bike, and I cycled like mad to find somewhere I could see it, leapt of my bike and starting shooting.
Then the colour died as quickly as it had arrived, so I headed off, and went up the lane at the back, and got another couple of pictures of the dying embers of the sunset from higher up. It was all quite amazing.
