out and about - 2016
09 September 2016 ............ Some wild weather
Later on in the day and there are a few breaks in the rain - I am now right out at the point on the Irvine side of the river Garnock, and the sea is wild.
Just before the next downpour arrived, I went out to the end of the breakwater there - it was a bit of a weird sensation - the waves were crashing in on either side of me, and I was right in the middle of them, but high and dry.
Later on, and a few holes began to appear in the clouds, and we got a bit of a sunset - it isn`t going to win any awards as a sunset, but it was nice to see a bit of colour after such a foul afternoon.
