out and about - 2016
01 July 2016 .............. Strange weather
Another day of mixed up weather, and it continued well into the evening.
Away in one direction there were storm clouds piling up - it must have been raining hard somewhere over there - one of the showers came up and over, and we had a good rainbow for a wee while.
However over in another direction the weather was much better, and the low angle of the sun and the broken cloud meant that the cloud was rather nicely backlit.
Ben Vorlich and Stùc a Chroin were showing up rather nicely against the lighter sky - here they are as a small discrete fragment of cloud passes along in front of Stùc a Chroin - weird.
