A combination of a big Springs tide, a strong east wind, and a deep low pressure just south of Ireland meant that there was a very high tide this morning - the biggest I have ever seen.
The boats in the marina were practically sailing off down the road it was so high.
The rocks right outside the sea wall were just about covered - normally they are high and dry.
The water was sloshing right up above the ramp outside the RNLI lifeboat station and past the buildings. Amazing.
