Out for a couple of hours walking over the line of hills that stretch from Ganavan up to Dunstaffnage - this is on the most northerly of the tops, looking north east and east over Dunstaffnage Bay, over the Falls of Lora, and up to Loch Etive.
It is a pity about the low cloud, because all the mountains around Loch Etive are hiding in the cloud.
Just playing around, here is a long focus view of the Connel Bridge and beyond - it is strange, but when you are close to it, Connel Bridge looks to be a huge solid structure. But in this picture, when you are seeing it as just a part of a wider natural view, Connel Bridge seems to be a slight and spindly construction that is doomed to fall down at any time !
Heading back, and into a viscous hail storm coming from a massive black cloud layer that is completely covering the sky, apart from much further south.
On the last hill before dropping down to Ganavan, and the heavy cloud layer is moving away, most of Mull is now clear, and we got half a sunset - quite dramatic.
