Anglesey spent the day on the northwest edge of a big mass of cloud that brought rain to much of the southern half of Wales and southern England, and it also covered most of the mountains in Snowdonia in a dark grey shroud - only Mynydd Mawr, Moel Elio, and Elidir Fawr escaped.
The cloud conditions produced a rather dark and moody sunset with only a bit of colour - but rather attractive nevertheless.
A while later, and the cloud overhead is getting thicker, and a wee bit of red shows up -
