out and about - 2015
26 June 2015 .............. An incredible sunset
This was the most incredible sunset, that was quite unusual.
The first thing about it was the intensity of the colour - I don`t think I have ever seen a sunset with such intense colour.
The second thing about it was the fact that it was caused by very low cloud, it was only a few hundred feet above me.
And the third thing about it was the feeling that I wasn`t watching a sunset - I was in it.
Wales, both north and south, seems to get some fabulous sunsets, and I have often watched them with awe - but I have always been an observer - the sunset was happening somewhere over there.
But in this one, it was all around me - perhaps because of the very low cloud - I wasn`t an observer - I was in it - it is strange to describe it as not only fabulous to look at, but it was an amazing experience as well.
I ran up and down the field taking loads of pictures, and here are some of them - they hopefully show the intensity of the colour, but they can`t show the experience.
