What a change in the weather from last week - freezing cold, rain on and off all day - but a brighter evening, so a chance to get out for a while.
Don`t let the blue sky and evening sunshine fool you - it was still freezing cold - and just to prove it, snow on Snowdon and on the Carneddau.
However the evening sunshine was lighting up the cliffs on Mynydd Mawr rather nicely -
and on Craig Cwm Silyn -
Further down the Lleyn Peninsula, and as usual, Yr Eifl was looking fabulous.
You can`t really see it too well in the photograph, but looking at it in real life, the sun was also lighting up the amazing cliffs on the next headland beyond Yr Eifl - Penrhyn Glas - an amazing place to sea kayak around - but it doesn`t half pick up any sea that is going.
