One of the benefits of this rather unseasonable but long-may-it-continue weather we are having just now is the frequent good sunrises and sunsets - and today there was another one.
It wasn`t perhaps the most spectacular sunrise ever, but it was rather interesting, because there was quite obviously two very different cloud layers.
The upper layer - which I think must have been at a very high altitude - had clouds that were long streaks, and they were over a lot of the sky. They lit up very early on, you can see them in this picture below and above the much lower red and grey block of cloud, which only lit up right at the end of the sunrise.
