out and about - 2014
23 March 2014 ............ Cemlyn Point in a gale
Beautiful sunshine, but an evil wind meant it was quite wild at Cemlyn Point.
It was rough enough that I could see the waves breaking on remote places like Middle Mouse and Wylfa Head.
Same again for Carmel Head - I don`t think I have ever seen waves breaking like this in the bay on this side of Carmel Head, it is quite sheltered there, especially when the wind is from the west and southwest.
And finally, I could also see the waves breaking on West Mouse and the Skerries. It would have been a wild crossing over to the Skerries !
