There is a road up to Point Lynas lighthouse, but it is a private road and doesn`t permit public access.
There is a generous public car park a few hundred metres above Porth Eilein, so I parked there and headed down the road to the beach - this is looking down on the beach and across to Point Lynas - it isn`t really one of Anglesey`s better beaches.
Heading up the road to the lighthouse, and looking back at Llaneilian.
Up on Point Lynas now, looking away to the west. The first island is clearly East Mouse, but I am not sure about the island away in the distance. It could be Middle Mouse, but that`s quite a long way away. It might be a headland, and you are just not seeing the bit joining it to the mainland.
Across the other side of Point Lynas, looking away to the south down the east coast of Anglesey. The obvious island would be Garnog, and possibly the further away one is Ynys Moelfre.
