Later on in the morning now, and I am up by the radio tower - the daylight may have been reluctant to get out of bed, but by golly it was so making up for it now - fabulous views and fabulous colouring.
Looking away down the Sound of Mull, and the lighthouse on Eilean Musdile was fairly standing out.
The mountains on Mull were looking their best, with a dusting of snow on the summits catching the sun -
A bit unfortunate, but a cloud was blocking out the sun from some of the mountains on Kingairloch.
Cruachan was looking superb - and an interesting observation is that from up by the radio tower you can see that Ben Cruachan has two summits.
When you are down around the Connel bridge you look up at what you think is Ben Cruachan - but actually what you are looking at is the lower more westerly 1101 metre summit.
You can`t see the actual 1126 metre summit from down by Connel bridge.
Back over on Mull and a rather interesting block of cloud sitting above the hills -
Time to head away back down the track, and it may only be November, but the gorse was already in flower.
