A technically awful picture of a full eclipse of the moon - but this was no ordinary eclipse of the moon.
It was the second eclipse in 2010, but much more important was the fact that it was an eclipse of the moon on the shortest day of the year - the last time there was a full eclipse of the moon on the shortest day of the year was in 1638, and these are the only occurrences of this in the last two thousand years.
So a bit of history here !
