20 July 2016 ............ Falls of Lora

Back for another visit to the Falls of Lora, and the predicted tide height was 3.9 metres at Oban - however with the big change in the weather, I think it was quite a lot bigger than this.

Right from the time I arrived, the wave beside the north pier was long and fast. Surfing was possible but hard going. Out in the middle there wasn`t really a surfable wave.

Getting back to the car park was hard, I had to get out to drag the boat over the rocks, the current under the bridge just showed no sign of ever slowing down.

All packed up, and a dark and moody sunset over Kingairloch.
