A total gamble as to whether there would be a wave before it got dark.
There wasn`t !
However as I launched about an hour earlier than usual, I discovered various things - the flood tide through Britannia Bridge into the Swellies starts something like 2 hours before low water in the Swellies.
Slack water under Menai Bridge is at a different time from slackwater under Britannia Bridge.
And by the time the water level is low enough to provide playspots around the islands on the Anglesey side, the ebb tide is long gone, and the flood tide has started.
However on the up side, there was a rather nice sunset.
